Albert Street is situated only a few hundred yards from St. Albans City Centre and a ten minute walk from Thameslink B.R. (a mere 20 minutes into central London). Close to the M25, M1 and A1 with excellent public transport connections to Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted and London City Airports. There is also a Silverlink Train Service running from St. Albans Abbey Station to Watford Junction.
NPC Public car park available - free 6.30pm to 7.30am. The house is ideally situated for exploring the city of St. Albans with its Roman Heritage, outstanding Cathedral, busy street markets (Weds & Sats) and wide variety of shops, restaurants and pubs.

My wife took on the organising of a trip for 22 members of the family to St Albans for a 60th birthday. Finding accommodation for this many was always going to be tricky, but Carol and Barry's lovely B&B combined with three houses in Keyfield Terrace fitted the bill perfectly.
The B&B really was superb - a beautiful Georgian building which was wonderful inside and out, and was made to, and did, feel very homely from the minute we were welcomed through the front door. Superb breakfasts each day (particularly the sausages from Barry's brother's home reared pigs!) - this was hotel quality.
The Keyfield Terrace properties (about a three minute walk from the main B&B) were exactly as advertised - basic yet perfectly functional, clean and welcoming. For the price, I really struggle to see how anyone could complain! All kitchens equipped with the "essentials" needed for a decent breakfast, and the location - literally a minute's walk to the town centre - could not be better. Coupled with the fact there were four excellent pubs within a 30 second walk, the cottages served us excellently and we'd have no complaints recommending to others.
As you'd imagine, organisation for this many people resulted in some last minute changes to plans, and Carol and Barry could not have been more helpful and understanding. Highly recommended.

" My parents were visiting from the USA for ten days and found staying at the cottage very comfortable, clean and fabulously located. A few minutes from the cathedral and St Albans city centre really added to the sense of relaxation and ease...my family and I were very close by. It seemed like we were all in one big comfy home. " Stayed at Albert street, group of lads for one night. Location was perfect for us, short walk In to town which we did both day and night. Owner met us on arrival and was very helpful and friendly. Was able to leave anytime although we were gone by half ten. Accommodation was clean and the bathroom was fine. Noise outside was not a problem at all, pub near by and a car park opposite makes it ideal location for any groups of friends staying. Food and drink was in the kitchen which was very handy. Stayed here twice now and would not hesitate to again. "
